Reliabiliy of Curtis 1231 Controllers

After selling 1231C-8601 and 1231C-7701 Curtis controllers for more than 15 years, we have found the failure rate to be about 1-2% when using two contactors. The failure rate increases if only a single contactors is used per the Curtis schematic. (http://www.evamerica.com/page13.html)
